We have worked extensively with Home Comfort on the renovation, upgrading and ongoing maintenance of both The Newtown Hotel and The Albany Hotel in central Edinburgh, and our experience with the company has been excellent.

Home Comfort have acted as one of our key contractors throughout the complete renovation of both properties, managing and delivering a wide range of works. Their involvement has included project management, extensive joinery works, the installation of new heating systems including boilers and radiators, bathroom renovations and upgrades, gas safety certification, and numerous other improvement works across the hotels.

What has particularly impressed us is the breadth of knowledge and experience within the Home Comfort team. Hotel renovation projects can be complex, particularly when coordinating multiple trades and upgrading existing buildings, but they have consistently approached each stage professionally, practically and with a clear understanding of what is required.

Their communication throughout the projects has been excellent. We have always found the team approachable, personable and straightforward to deal with, and they have worked closely with us to resolve issues, coordinate works and keep the projects progressing.

Our relationship with Home Comfort has continued beyond the renovation works. They now provide ongoing support and maintenance for our heating and hot water systems, as well as gas safety certification, Legionella and water risk assessments, water tank cleaning and other planned maintenance requirements.
Having a contractor that we can trust to understand the buildings, respond when required and look after such a broad range of services is extremely valuable to us as hotel operators.
